At groomingdales, we speak fluent MEOW....and not just the bad words. We love cats, I have several at home! In addition. I am the cofounder and President of Angel Pets Animal Welfare Society, Inc. (Angel PAWS, for short) ~ a cats only facility in Colonia, NJ.  

I am an experienced cat groomer and adept at handling even a kitty who is, well, a bit purrsnikitty!!!

I understand the psychological differences between cats and dogs and alter my handling techniques to suit the needs of each. I am NOT a dog groomer who happens to groom cats. I am a cat groomer as well.

You can rest assured that I am experienced in cat behavior and know the signs and body language of a cat in stress and how to proceed to reduce that stress....or when to stop!

Only gentle handling techniques are used. Minimal, completely safe restraints, NO MUZZLES, no hoods, or anything else that could further frighten your cat.

We offer bath and brush outs, nail clipping, and various styles of lion clips.

We also offer, for those long haired felines with no or minimal matting, what we have come to refer to as the Bathroom Rug Clip! Another groomingdales exclusive!!!

Several weeks after my sister's Persian was lion clipped due to matting (yes, in the family, how embarrassing), she called and said the length her cat was at was perfect, can we always clip him to this length. She said he reminded her of a fuzzy  bathroom rug. Therefore, the Bathroom Rug Clip was born!
