the playroom:

groomingdales can offer a minimal crate environment and exercise time for pampered pets.  After their groom,  pets individually (or all pets belonging to the same family) get to romp in the playroom and play with the toys or look out the window to watch for Mom or Dad.  Pampered pets that are staying with us all day will not stay crated all day.  Water, beds and a walk are provided.  A pet's own toys, beds and snacks are welcome to be brought along.  Day sitting is also available for times when pet needs to be out of the house for the day.  Only pets that are altered are allowed in the playroom.

elevator table:

Our tables go down to only a few inches off the floor so even the biggest dogs can safely step up and be secured.  No wrestling with dogs that can be dropped and mishandled due to their size.  They are secured and the table is raised.  They can then comfortably step into the tub. 

LIPS System:

It may look a little odd, but our tables are outfitted with systems to keep your pampered pet safely on the grooming table.  No fear of leaping off or hanging since an anxious dog can be secured both front and back.  Senior dogs can also be comfortably supported at the hips to take the stress off standing during grooming.

dryers:

Our pampered pets are dried using a combination of hand held dryers and crate dryers.  Coats are hand fluffed to perfection.  Our crate dryers use recycled room air only.  They DO NOT heat up so there is no fear that your pet can become overheated while being dried.  Crate drying is often more comfortable for  pets, especially large or older ones, so they don't have to stand so long.
