 Canine Training and Behavior Modification

Kay9 Experience uses positive, humane training methods to help a dog reach its owner's vision of an ideal pet.  Offerings include:

• Basic obedience training using positive reinforcement: Clicker Training, Operant Conditioning, Lure/Rewarding
• Group classes
• Educating the owner to manage the environment so the dog is not reinforced for undesirable behavior
• Educating the owner on development from puppyhood to adulthood
• Setting the dog up for success so he/she can be rewarded for the correct behavior
• Evaluation of abnormal behaviors and aggression
• Customized treatment plans for behavior modification
• Recommendation of pharmacological intervention in conjunction with, and under the supervision of, a veterinarian

About Kay Anne:

Early interest for working with canines and their human companions sparked my enthusiasm during the years I adopted and trained 5 dogs ~ including 2 deaf dogs.  I am the proud and happy companion of 1 Dalmatian, 1 Australian Kelpie and 1 American Pit Bull Terrier!!!

• Graduated from the Animal Behavior Center of New York
• Certified as Associate Canine Behavior Counselor from the Association of Companion Animal Behavior Counselors, New York
• Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, New Jersey
• Over 7 years experience performing basic obedience training
• Performs volunteer work with shelters and rescue groups
• Participant in Noah's Ark and People for Animals dog walks
